Summers have always been a time of great leisure and relaxation for me (up until I got a job) that consisting of traveling for family vacations and trips to see friends! But no matter my location, I try to find time to read a book or two. Check out my list below of summer reads, hopefully I'll inspire you to pick one up!
✔️✔️You are a BadA** | This one was gifted to me by a friend and colleague. I was struggling with self-doubt and this book is right on time. While I'm not too crazy about the language, the author makes extremely valuable points and I can't help but feel inspired!
Uninvited | I started reading Renee Swope back in college which then led me to Lysa Turkerest. I haven't met a book of hers that I didn't like. She's so genuine and real that I resignate with her struggles and she captures the hard times as a Christian, a woman, and a person. Every time I read one of her books, it seems like the Lord heals a piece of me with her words.
✔️✔️Broke Millennial | So I read this book a few months ago but I continue to reference it (probably weekly) because it helps so much with my financial goals. If you haven't purchased it yet, be sure to do so and deal with the financial burdens that have been holding you back.
#GirlBoss | I watched the Netflix show but wasn't really impressed or inspired but I've heard from my fellow Girl Bosses that the book is much better so I'm willing to give it a shot.
Bombshell of All Trades | I absolutely adore Kyshira and I am looking forward to finally digging into her book! It's part book and part workbook for all those business babes trying to get their life together. (Review Coming Soon!)
Honorable Mentions: (books I've started but have yet to compete or something I've wanted to read for a while.)
