As I begin making brand new plan for 2018, I am reminded of the trials and tribulations of 2017. Even with the hardships, I have to note it as one of the best years of my adult life because greater change happened.
Everyone can resonate with the statement, "Mondays suck!" But I've found that they actually don't have to if you plan accordingly. Using Sundays nights as a prep day for Monday can leave you feeling accomplished and free before you even walk out the door. Here I've listed three steps to making your Monday morning a breeze!
I don't about all of you but this month has dragged on and on for me. However, I can't say that it was always a bad thing. I slowed down a lot and allowed myself to rest and have lazy days but also pushed myself into situations that I normally would have never agreed to. Welcome to Month 4 of 2017!
Wanderlust is a real thing, a beast even! A need that must be met and can only be done so on the open road or in the clouds. For the month of March, we are discussing all things travel from planning to enjoying the culture and sights around you. The first topic up is planning a road trip when you are all by yourself!
Whoever thought that you could learn so much in a month's time? I surely didn't. But I have to say that February was a great month for learning! I learned that it was more important to take care of myself then to please other people and that when your body says stop then you need to listen. Self-care has been one of the best investments I've made in 2017 and I don't plan on stopping. Be sure to take the time to think of what makes you happy and do that, not what others want you to do.
Wow! Have we really made it to the second month of 2017! What an awesome year it has been already! I've had the opportunity to branch out and mingle with a different crowd of people and its been so much fun. As I reflect on last month's goals and create new one's for this month, I hope that I can inspire and encourage you to do the same!
If I've said this before then I will say it again. I love planning! There is something about color coding your planner with dates/times/events and adorable stickers that makes my heart happy. With that being said, I believe there is an art to preparing your planner for the upcoming year as well as each new month and week.
Finding the perfect planner is like searching for a new car or house. It has to fit your style and needs, after all its something that you will have for a whole year and probably carry around daily. Your planner should really be something that encompasses the lifestyle that you live. You wouldn't by a mini van when you are a single twenty something with no kids, right?!? Here we will discuss a few keys points to look for in a planner. I hope that its helpful in your journey to finding the perfect planner for you.
Last week, we talked about clearing out space for the new year. Making sure that the space that you work, play, and sleep is conducive to the life that you want to live! Now lets dive head first into our goals for 2017!
Cleaning...a dreaded task but a necessary one indeed. Especially in the New Year, there is something about have a clean space within the first few weeks of the year to really put you in a good space. When your physical space clear so is your mental space (i.e more room for creative fun ideas!)
